The discipline of Qur’anic recitation aims at equipping the students with the skills to be able to recite the Qur’an accurately according to tajweed rules and to ensure that the student gain the skill of memorizing certain chapters of the Qur’an. Its main research area is with regards to the various readings of the Qur’an and its practive within contempoarary society.
